Vimana MXPPG-1

Stan's shop is working on basically a redesign of the long-proven SkyBolt2 PPG (click here) taking into account recommendations of USPPA's Jeff Goins (click here), his flight instructor, pilot input, other designs, and other considerations.

Features being worked upon:

  • Lighter weight

  • Stronger frame

  • Highly portable

  • Student-proof propeller cage

  • Adaptability to wing, engine, and trike upgrade for tandem, Search & Rescue, cargo, special operations, and UAV utility (100,000 foot endurance UAV program is separate), and float plane options.

  • Renter-proof engines. One of the biggest barriers to PPG rental is that pilots "drive it like they stole it". There are some technical and business solutions we are studying to fix that problem and enable the rental industry.

These are aircraft to be built from our shop and with partners primarily for student and early pilot use of pretty much bulletproof design addressing prevention of:

  • Pilot severe injury by propeller.

  • Line and wing costly damage where tangled in propeller.

  • Propeller impact with ground and its costly engine damages.

  • Throttle and riser slip into propeller arc causing flight control failure and doom.

Economically, the design addresses the need for more affordable PPG aircraft to new pilots.  Also, the need for flight schools to operate a more damage-proof aircraft so that rental industries can be opened up in further spread of the sport. Also, aircraft that are easier to insure.

For existing vendors on the SkyBolt and other manufacturers, we are happy to work with you in delivering the products to market.

At the moment,we are evaluating rental, sales, and kit business models.

Design will be showcased here when complete.  For now, it is secretive.  Stan is still in flight research and business research on the matter -- mostly focused on flying more, and filtering down to what engineering improvements of existing are truly needed versus what would be just excess weight and cost.  Stan is interviewing PPG pilots, owners, and long-time instructors on their needs first while adjusting preliminary designs.

First is Preliminary Design Review to each (present stage).  Then experiment.  Then, Final Design Review and corrections. Then more flight test.

LEARN TO FLY EASILY, QUICKLY, AND AFFORDABLY!

Coming soon!    You will be able to rent our powered parachute to fly around Lake County after completing a few days flight training.  Group lessons are also available.

Once an instructor certifies you as safe to fly solo, you can continue renting and practicing toward your Light Sport Pilot license.  From there, you can carry one passenger.

With deposit and background check, our aircraft can be taken out of area.

Demonstration and familiarity flights are also available.

Should you desire to purchase your own aircraft, we suggest renting awhile but can assist in location, pre-purchase inspection, build, and maintenance.

Our business is rental not sales.  We can provide dealership discounts on some new models, but do not bias ourselves or push particular products.  We can assist you in building an aircraft from scrap parts, too.
