UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS (UAS)
You've heard of Area 51 "Aurora"? We kidnapped her granny and her mother, too! Because our old men birthed them all.
On the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) front, we have in-house or with associates:
Fixed wing and copter drones.
Flight instructors and mentors.
A sponsored multirotor race team available.
Search & Rescue volunteer droners.
Hobby to commercial rockets.
A high altitude ballooning crew.
For rocketeers and teachers, we have:
Discount and fabrication shop relations with hobby and commercial rocket vendors. We build their nose & tail cones.
Our partners have many nice rocket products for students, and also launch some very big amateur rockets to the edge of space while working with more serious, commercial orbital programs.
Our associates are happy to provide tours, assistance, consulting, and launch operations for individuals and groups out of Mojave, CA, the Black Rock Desert, and other locations.
In Mojave, we have a flight test corridor for rockets and drones out to 50,000 feet.
Over Oregon, our associates have full commercial UAS privileges, including a hypersonic corridor into the Pacific Ocean.
We have many UAS associates globally for just about anything on drones -- everything from small drones to large Predator types and yet unseen aircraft.
One affiliate uses manned and unmanned aircraft to provide high quality LIDAR scan of terrain on aerial surveys. These services are available at discount.
Our Hypersonic Group colleagues have been key consultants on the the new SR-72 spy plane, DARPA XS-1, the Falcon Vehicle, and deal with combined cycle propulsion flight of usually drones to Mach 25. One is a long-time aerospace professor and present consultant to the Australian scramjet program. Another is a prior Navy program manager on classified hypersonic programs now busy in White House on the Presidential budgets. Another professor is retired from Aerojet -- specializing in rocket-injected turbojets to Mach 6. Another is a long-time hypersonic airframe designer. Two are direct disciples of the late Dr. Paul Czysz (Obituary, Interview with UFO group) , a legend in hypersonic flight. One is our friend, Doug Gard, whose hobby rocketry and kits for students are pretty wild! (www.RetroFlight.com) Another is a long-time hobby and commercial rocket man who makes rockets for hobbyists, and also for the British government. Another is a long-time space industry lady in venture capital pushing for return to the Moon. Another professor is a long-time mechanical, materials, and aerospace engineer. Another couple are long-time radio, microwave, and electrical engineers. One -- Stan -- specializes in exotic energy & propulsion systems, far out physics, electrical theory, and research of an "Area 51" nature. Serious Star Trekkie "warp drive" is his truest aerospace engineering love. Our other pals specialize in orbital insertion, Lunar, Mars, and deep space missions.
